Tuning: D A D G B E
I was lucky enough to discover Mitski when at a show for Hundred Waters. I found this song on her Bandcamp and
really like it, so I decided to transcribe it.Im pretty sure most of the voicings that I provide are accurate,
though I didn't take too long to make sure.

I'm pretty sure she plays this in open D, but I never feel like tuning to that so I play it in drop D. The
picking pattern is very simple and can easily be lifted off of the record. The last verse is strummed.

DAll of this turbulence F#wasn't forecasted
GApologies from the Aintercom
DAnd I am relieved that I'd F#left my room tidy
GThey'll think of me kindly
AWhen they come for my Dthings
GThey'll never know how I'd F#stared at the dark in that Eroom
With no thoughts
Like a D#blood-sniffing shark
GAnd while my dreams made Bmmusic in the night
GCarefully
AI was going to Dlive

[Verse 2]
DYou wouldn't leave till we F#loved in the morning
GYou'd learned from movies how Alove ought to be
DAnd you'd say you love me and F#look in my eyes
GBut I know through mine you were
ALooking in Dyours
GAnd did you know the libertF#y bell is a replica
ESilently housed in its D#original walls
GAnd while its dreams played Bmmusic in the night
GQuietly
AIt was told to Dbelieve
