^GWhen I was five I used to think that I could fly ^Em7That the whole world was just beneath my feet ^Cadd9But as I grew older I started feeling like ^DIt was the whole world stepping on me ^GYears later I tried to fly again ^Em7But this time cause I didn't want to live ^Cadd9And honestly I still wish I could try again sometimes ^DBut I feel this responsibility by simply existing

^GYou see the world needs as much kindness it can get ^Em7And we're the ones contributing to that ^Cadd9Kindness towards others and ourselves ^DI feel like people often forget that ^GSo I will not kill myself tonight ^Em7I will stand strong and keep my back straight ^Cadd9Cause I know that I can make a difference by simply being kind ^DAnd that gives me a silly sense of purpose
