The Huron Carol – Traditional Canadian Carol
This carol was written in 1643 by Jean de Brebuef (a Jesuit missionary) for the
Huron-Wendat people. The original Huron-Wendat lyrics are not literally translated
into the English -- they are more inspired by than translated from.
These Lyrics are from the Voices United Hymnal, but return the Huron-Wendat lyrics
to the refrain. I have also simplified the chords and moved it to Em
