Tuning: E A D G B E
This Tab refers to Micah P. Hinson's song Caught in Between, the 12th track from his 2004 debut album The Gospel of Progress. This Tab is based on live performances and does not refer to the album version, which uses fingerpicking mostly, instead of strumming. STANDARD TUNING | NO CAPO INTRO AND VERSE F Em Am Dm C G G' C' e-8---7--5--5--3--3--10--8--| b-10--8--5--6--5--3--12--8--| g-10--9--5--7--5--4--12--9--| d-10--9--7--7--5--5--12--10-| a-8---7--7--5--3--5--10--10-| e-8---7--x--5--3--3--10--8--| The Am chord is played by pressing the g, b and higher e strings with the index finger, whilst the pinky and ring press the a and d strings. The lower e string is not played. At the beginning of the "Who where and why, what and then" verse, Micah stops playing bar chords and begins playing the following ones instead: F Em Am C e-1-----------| b-1-----1--1--| g-2-----2-----| d-3--2--2--2--| a-3--2-----3--| e-1--------3--| It is advisable to listen to the song first to understand the Intro's rhythm.
