Tuning: E A D G B E
I saw this song played. I had a hard time figuring out how to put it together. This is the easiest way to play it and it sounds pretty close to the way Merle Haggard plays it. Anyways, please comment. Enjoy. Also, you can put a capo on if you need. I use a capo to adjust for my voice. If you use a capo, the chords are the same. In other words, you play it the same as if there were no capo. [Verse 1]
The fDirst time we met is a favorite D7mem'ry of Gmine. They say tAime changes all it pertains to But your memory is stronger than tiDme. I guess evDerything does change except what you cD7hoose to recGall. There's a mAillion good daydreams to dream on But, baby, you are my favorite mem'ry of Dall. Like the night we made love in the Dhallway, Slept all night long on the fGloor. Like the wAinter we spent at Lake Shasta alone, and closer than ever befoDre. And I remDember that London vacaD7tion. It was you who made the whole thing a bGall. There's a mAillion good-times I could dwell on, But, baby, you are my favorite mem'ry of aDll.
