This is really just a "first stab" at it because I noticed no one else has
tried yet. I'm not 100% sure on the F# for the verses, but it sounds close
if it's not right. Those chords for the chorus seem to work spot on as far
as I can tell though.
Verse 1:
C#mI was only looking for a sEhortcut home
But it's cBomplicated
So complF#icated
C#mSomewhere in this city is a rEoad I know
Where weB could make it
ButF# maybe there's no making it now OBh ieooheio
Chorus:
EToo long we've been denying
BNow we're both tired of trying
C#mWe hit a wall and we can't gAet over it
ENothing to relive
BIt's water under the bridge
C#mShe said it, I get it
I guess itA is what it is
Verse 2: (Same as verse 1)
I was only trying to bury the pain
But I made you cry and I can't stop the crying
Was only trying to save me
But I lost you again
Now there's only lying
Wish I could say it's only me
(Chorus)
EHere it comes ready or not
We C#mboth found out it's not how we thought
ThatA it would be, howB it would be
EIf the time could turn us around
What C#monce was lost may be found
For Ayou and me, for Byou and me
(Chorus)
C#mI was only looking for a sEhortcut home
But it's cBomplicated
So complF#icated...
