The other versions of this song are slightly off, this is exactly how Keith plays it acoustic. He improvises all his live acoustic performances 'cause he's just a stud like that, so he may not do the riff everywhere that it occurs in the studio version, but for this tab I will be putting the riff as it aligns with the studio version. When I play the song I pick the intro two times, then strum two times, then go into the verse. When I play the riff amongst the verses I always strum it. After "shining down on me and you" in the chorus, Keith plays the E shape of the B and A chords (basically the barre chord without the barre) and finishes the run back at E. Note each run of the riff lasts two measures (4 beats per).
