This song is real simple, its two sets of chords back and forth. F F G F x2 F F F G F x2 Now it gets kinda off, cause mostly the first progression is verse, and the second progression is chorus, but after the second verse, theres that instrumental break, and the song breaks back into a verse(lyrically) during the chorus part, but it straightens itself out right after that.
FTry not to think about it. FGet dressed and come out tonight. GYou've been through this before and you know it's gonna' be alrigFht.
FBut you can't go out like that. FTuck in your shirt and comb your hair back. GIf you feel like crying just turn away until the feelings pasFs.
FOh, poor fool (poor fool). FOh, poor fool (poor fool). FNo will to live, Gno will to choose, Fpoor fool.
FNow the heart is a tricky thing. FYours, more than most. GYou spend your whole life wandering with a look on your face like you've seen a ghosFt. FThis ain't no haunting. FAnd though it's no ordinary hurt, Gafter all these years, you should know better, but you never learFn.
FOh, poor fool (poor fool). FOh, poor fool (poor fool). FNo will to live, Gno will to choose, Fpoor fool.
(Get yr friend to play a faintly sad slide guitar solo here) F F G F x2
FNow I think you like it. FBetter yet, I know you do. FYou fuss and you fight it, Gbut your just an ordinary fool.
FSo tuck your head back, Fclose your eyes and take a long, deep breath. GYou're gonna' be alright, you just gotta' learn to try to forgeFt.
FOh, poor fool (poor fool). FOh, poor fool (poor fool). FNo will to live, Gno will to choose, Fpoor fool.
