LIKE A CHILD - Jars of Clay Tuning: Standard Okay, I've tabbed out the major guitar riffs here, and taken a shot at the woodwind solo. I'm not so good with the strings, so I couldn't get them down. In the future, I may have one of my friends who plays violin help me out, so I can try and figure out Boy on a String. If that happens, I'll try to get the string parts for this song as well. Until then though, this is what I have. The first riff is played twice by a mandolin during the first verse, during the second half. Listen to the track, and you'll get it. Riff One (arranged for guitar): e|-----------------------------------| B|-12-10-8-7-3-13----12-10-8-7-8-13--| G|-----------------------------------| D|-12-10-9-7-5-14----12-10-9-7-9-14--| A|-----------------------------------| E|-----------------------------------| The second riff is played at the end of each verse by the guitar. Riff Two e|-------------------| B|-------------------| G|-------------------| D|------0h2p0-----0--| A|-------------3-----| E|---3---------------| The woodwind solo is played twice over the semi-bridge of the song (with the samples of children talking). Just to set the record straight, I don't play a woodwind, so this may not be 100% correct. I did the best I could. It sounds like the song to me.
