I put a capo on the 1st fret bc I'm not very good at playing barred chords on the first fret (like the Fm and Bbm in this song). I still play all the chords where they should be (like Ab is still barred on the 4th fret counting w/o a capo) but I essentially play an Em for Fm and Am for Bbm (bc the capo on 1st replaces the barring with my finger).
