Email: sxviper700triple@hotmail.com
Tuning: E A D G B E (standard)
Here is my 2nd version of this song, I found a few big mistakes
in my other version, I sat down with it and figured it out right,
this intro should be pretty close to 100%
Intro: x2
Am F G Am
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|----------0-1-------1-0-------------1--------------------------------|
G|--------2---------2-----------0-----2--------------------------------|
D|------2---------3-----------0-------2--------------------------------|
A|----0---------3-----------2---------0--------------------------------|
E|------------------------3--------------------------------------------|
Then the singing starts, with, to me, sounds like muted chords, they
are Am, F and G, here are the lyrics adn chords:
AmWe had broken up Ffor good just an houGr before
Uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh
AmNow I'm staring at theF bodies as there's dancin'G 'cross the floor
Uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh
AmAnd then the band sloweFd the tempo and the music Ggets me down
Uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh
(Play Intro Over Again)
It was the same old song with the melancholy sound
Uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh
(Listen for strumming)
AmThey don't write 'em liFke that anymore
They just don't write 'em like that anymore
AmWe'd been living tFogether for a millGion years
Uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh
AmBut now it feel soF strange (out in theG atmospheres')
Uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh
(Play Intro Over again)
And then the jukebox plays a song I used to know
Uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh
Now I'm staring at the bodies as they dancin' so slow
Uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh
(Listen for Strumming)
AmThey don't write 'em liFke that anymore
They just don't write 'em like that anymore
AmNow I wind up staFring at an emptyG glass
Uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh
AmCause its so easy toF say that you'll forgeGt your past
Uh uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh
(Play Intro Over again)
They don't write 'em like that anymore, no!
They just don't write 'em like that anymore
(Listen for how many times to play the intro over)
They don't write 'em like that anymore
They just don't write 'em like that anymore
(Play Intro and fade out)
