Capo: 3
These are chords and lyrics for "Lowly Deserter" by Glen Hansard. Based on the 2014 live acoustic wideosesja video, posted by Uwolnij Muzykę! as seen on YouTube. CHORDS: - The chords of the song are Gm, Cm and Dm. - If you're not too comfortable with barre, you will want to use CAPO 3 and play Em, Am and Bm. - Another option would be to use CAPO 10 (if your guitar allows it) and play Am, Dm and Em. (In the video Glen plays a mandolin, which sounds higher, so the CAPO 10 comes closest) - My personal preference (and the middle road) is: CAPO 5 with Dm, Gm and Am. LYRICS: - I just wrote the lyrics as I heard them so there are bound to be some mistakes in the lyrics. NOTES: - The chord progression in the chorus is different than in the verses, but there's still only 3 chords. - Glen adds some hammer-ons in his chords. All hammer-ons are in the chord itself so just hammer around. - Do yourself a favour and invest in a kazoo for the horn parts. - Now I'll shut up. ======================================== LOWLY DESERTER by Glen Hansard Gm, Gm, Cm, Gm Gm, Gm, Dm, Gm Verse 1:
