Tuning: E A D G B E
Okay, this is by far the most difficult song on the album to figure out because a large part of the melody comes from the flute. I've played around with it a lot, and this is the best I've been able to come up with, but once again, if anyone else thinks they can figure out something that can be improved about it, don't hesitate to make any changes. CHORDS USED: F C G D Am GHOST MICE: EUROPE "France" G - Am - C - Am G - Am - C - Am G - Am - C - Am G - Am - C - Am
GParis isn't that roAmmantic CIf you don't have any Ammoney GThose cafés aren't so Amcute to walk by CWhen you're Amhungry
GOur campground on the Amoutskirts of town Was Call we could afford to Amdo We Gwere so sick of bein' in the Ambig cities And Cthis one seemed so Amrude, rude, rude
GWe mailed home all our Amhuge rolls of film And all the Gchange that we couldn't Amuse We Gbumped into some girls that we Amknew from Texas Saw the GMona Lisa, her smile Amseemed so cruel
And we Amused our last ticket to take the train To a Cboat on the coast that would take us away To a Gplace that we hoped Would be the end of our Fsorrows
When we Amgot there we were way too late There was Cno way we could leave that day We would Ghave to find a place to stay And Ftry again tomorrow
AmWe found a secret place to crash In a Cbush by the docks
That was filled with trash
We Gcleared a spot and we called it a Fday
And I Amwished that I brought my guitar As I Clooked through the bush
Up at the stars
GFell asleep and got woke up by the Frain
We Cwaited on the porch for the Gdoors to open And we Amasked the guy if there was any reason hopin' He Csaid, "Don't give Gup, Cross your Amfingers, wish for luck"
So I Ccast my spells and I made my Gcurses AmWishin' that a truck would get stuck And then Cwe could take their Gplace, And leave France that Amday.
