Tuning: E A D G B E
The Far Field is real good and this is probably my favorite song off it! I figured this tab out a couple weeks ago but just got around to posting it now. Can't speak much to pedals or effects you can achieve a record- esque sound with here, though it's more or less necessary to play this using a rubber or felt pick playing with an up-down-up-down strum. It looks harder than it is, just strum eighth notes up and down and you'll find each note falls somewhere inside that strum pattern. It may take some time to wrap your head around the patterns, but it's worth it; this song is fantastic and the bassline is an example of simple genius! Also if that really fast |-8/10- flair in the chorus is a pain then just cutting out the 10 or playing it as a hammer-on sounds perfectly fine, I just wanted to best reflect the studio performance.
