Alright. Well, I found the version 1 of "Dandelions" chords to be slightly confusing so I decided to create my own. In order for a tab or chords sheet to be satisfactory, it doesn't have to be complex (seeing this song is more of an intermediate level). I have devised a beginner level chord sheet for this wonderful song. Enjoy! Verse 1:
G In a field of Dyellow flowers, CUnderneath the Dsun, G Bluest eyes that Dspark with lightning, CBoy with shoes unDdone. Em He is young, so Dfull of hope, Em Reveling in Dtiny dreams, G Filling up his Darms with flowers, CRight for giving Dany queen.
Verse 2:
G Running to her Dbeaming bright, While Ccradling his Dprize. G A flickering of Dyellow light, WithCin his mother's Deyes. Em She holds them Dto her heart, Em Keeping them where Cthey'll be safe, G Clasped within her Dvery marrow, CDandelions Din a vase.
Chorus 1:
GShe Dsees Glove, Emwhere Canyone else Dwould see weeds. GAll Dhope Gis Emfound. CHere is everyDthing he needs.
Verse 3:
G Fathomless Your Dendless mercy, CWeight I could not Dlift. G Where do I fit Din this puzzle, CWhat good are these Dgifts? Em Not a martyr, Dor a saint, Em Scarcely can I Cstruggle through. G All that I have Dever wanted, CWas to give my Dbest to You.
Chorus 2:
GLord, Dsearch Gmy Emheart, CCreate in me Dsomething clean. GDanDdeGliEmons CYou see flowers Din these weeds.
Bridge:
Em Gently lifting Chands to heaven, Em Softened by the Dsweetest hush, Em A Father sings oDver his children, CLoving them so Dvery much. Em More than Dwords could warrant, Em Deeper than the Cdarkest blue, G More than sacriDfice could merit, CLord, I give my Dheart to You.
Chorus 3: (play twice)
GLord, Dsearch Gmy Emheart, CCreate in me Dsomething clean. GDanDdeGliEmons CYou see flowers Din these weeds.
End on G Order of Play: Verse 1 Verse 2 Chorus 1 Verse 3 Chorus 2 Bridge Chorus 3 (play twice) End on G I feel this is FIF's most popular song. Hope you enjoy it--please comment/rate! :) God bless you regardless! -Romans 10:13
