Tuning: E A D G B E
Long-time lurker, first-time poster (first time I've tried to figure out a song, as well). It's probably not perfect, so I'm not promising anything. I'm 99% sure the lyrics are correct, but I have a hearing disability, so I'm never 100% certain on that. Feel free to comment if you know of a correction. (I'm also aware that people may spell the "bum diddy" part differently ["bom," "bomp," "ditty," etc.] but that's the way I sing it, and it's not like those are actual words with a dictionary definition and spelling, so.) The intro and the "From the West...come to Harlem?" part don't have a guitar part in the song, but those would be the chords if there was a part, based on the rest of the song. I think it sounds good not to play anything during "Why don't you come to Harlem?" but I'm not telling you how to live your life or anything. In the parts where Russell and Alex alternate singing the same lyrics, but overlapping...I lined the chords up to where they correspond to Russell's voice, just because it's in keeping with the rhythm; Alex gets a little funky.
