Tuning: E A D G B E
Qualified - Dr. John 1973 - In The Right Place NOTES: Dr. John plays this in the vicinity of Eb. I moved it to E to play with my band. Feel free to tune down a half step to sync up with the recording, and these chords should still work for you. The intro is my simplified interpretation of what Dr. John plays on the piano, transferred to guitar. There are a lot of offbeat hits and syncopation. I'm not good enough with tab to notate that. You'll just want to listen to it and familiaze yourself with it. And lastly, on the recording, the song fades out over the last bridge. Rather than fading out, I like to hit the intro lick one more time and end it there.
