Tuning: G C E A
I heard the song and instantly fell in love with it! So I pulled out my ukulele and started searching
everywhere! Eventually I found a version like this, and it was almost perfect except for the fact that my
ukulele wasnt able to play the last chord because it was too low. So I tuned my ukulele down a half step,
and mapped it for myself! I figured that other people might have this problem, so I converted it onto here.
Tuning is half a step down from regular ukulele tuning: G C E A is now F# B D# G#
I was playing this using a tenor ukulele so it might be different for you depending on your instrument.
A7+5:
G#|-0-|
D#|-1-|
B |-1-|
F#|-0-|
G#m+7:
G#|-2-|
D#|-4-|
B |-3-|
F#|-0-|
A#dim/Gdim: (from here out will be referred to as A#dim)
G#|-1-|
D#|-0-|
B |-1-|
F#|-0-|
A7: (played like usual tuning but for info's purpose i'll still put it here)
G#|-0-|
D#|-0-|
B |-1-|
F#|-0-|
Now as far as the actual plucking goes its essentially this:
ONLY PLUCK THE STRINGS THAT ARE BEING FRETTED
(besides for the A7 chord where you will pluck both the B string and the D# string)
After that its fairly easy, once you have the chords down.
[Verse 1]
I have no wA7+5ords
No words that can G#m+7heal
All that is A#dimbroken
Or for what theyA#dim feel
[Verse 2]
No, I have nA7+5othing
For this sort of G#m+7pain
But we can keep lA#dimoving
We will love in their nA7ame
[Verse 3]
And though some are bA7+5roken
We will not be sG#m+7cared
You can't take away kA#dimindness
You can't take away cA7are
[Verse 4]
But I have no A7+5words
That can help with G#m+7pain
My heart's with the gA#dimrieving
Because what could I sayA#dim?
