Capo: 4
Tuning: G C E A
Capo 4
For the strumming use a simple base-strum down-up style. Listen to the song for what
best.
To get it to sound more like the song, I do a hammer-on for the next note after the base
So for G chord I hammer on 2nd fret on A string with 1st finger. For Dsus4/F# hammer on
fret on G string with 2nd finger, etc. So you hammer on right after plucking the base
and before the strum. Don't do this for D and Em, just strum regularly.
Chords used:

Wish you’d think of me
The way I think of you
Well I find it hard to breathe
Cause now I know the truth
So what good would fingers be
If it weren’t for diamond rings?
Now I know you’re leaving me
And I know that I’m no king
Chorus: (same)
And you said you wanted a better life
And you will tell me oh what you find
And then I stay the whole night through
And I turn from sad to blue
Yeah I’m choking after you
Miss, I’m choking now, do you?
Go ahead now, tell them all about it
(Solo plays here, strum chorus in the background)
Verse:
So what good would fingers be
If it weren’t for diamond rings?
Now I know you’re leaving me
And I know that I’m no king
