Arguably Dave's lyrical content, I found an acoustic version of him doing this song with Tim at Farm Aid in 2007 (http://www.youtube.com/watch'v=p6H09rW3ObU). The thing to remember about this one is getting the 7/4 feel down. Once you let that groove sink in (4+3), the song flows a lot better. INTRO: e------0h2---2-------0h2-----2---| b----------0-------------0-------| g--2-------------2---------------| d--------------------------------| a--------------------------------| e--------------------------------| 1 2 + 3 +(4)+(5)+ 6 +(7)+ VERSE: Dm Gm7 C Am e---1-------------0------0-------------| B---3-------------1------1-------------| G---2------3------0------2-------------| D---0------3------2------2-------------| A----------1------3------0-------------| E----------3---------------------------| PRE-CHORUS: Dm Gm7 C 1234 +(5)+(6) +7 Transition Chord - A CHORUS: ||: A G F D :|| "I don't ask much, but won't you speak, please'" A G F C A In the end, you can substitute a Bb chord for the Gm7 and it sounds just fine with all the common tones. The reason I put the Gm7 in (which I probably won't use) is because after looking at the video closely, this is what Dave plays (and it totally looks like he's flicking the audience off every time).
