I Don't think this is spot on, but it's what i do when i jam to this song. It's one of
my favorites, and if you're a Chuck Ragan fan, it should be one of your's.
Intro: B
Verse 1:
I could wEalk for miles looking for those eyes,
just to see the light i neAed,
Before the darkness comes seaEling up my faBte.
And liEsten close for the ringing tone, and true to it i'll bAe,
and take the road that was cEut for you and Bme,
Pre-Chorus:
I couldn't waAit for the cEall,
ever since you were &Equot;all",
and eAverything to brEeak me from my sBleep.
Chorus 1:
Well siAlence took me, feEirce and blindly
shaBdows became walAls,
I found the floor, with the brEoken boards,
and the &quoBt;griss full of milk on.E"
E,A,B,E
Verse 2:
With notEhing left but a chord to stretch and word to get on bAy,
sometimes you reach for the Ebottle before the Bsky.
well when wEe arise to fallen time,
like governments gone wroAng, reverberate,
"I'Eve called arms, Bto cut, away, out oEur tongues."
Repeat pre-chorus.
I couldn't Await for theE call,
ever since you were &Equot;all",
and eAverything to brEeak me from my sBleep.
Chorus 2:
Well silAence took me, feEirce and blindly
shaBdows became walAls,
I found the floor, with the brEoken boards,
and the &quoBt;griss full of milk on.E"
So teAll me lady, "E;What'd you say, why don't we"
LibeBrate some loAve, I've 'gotten over you,'
and noEthing to lose, or leBft to prove this woErld.
E,A,B,E
Bridge:
SEay what you want i don't mind.
SBay what you want i don't mind.
SAay what you want i don't mind,
sBay what you want.
(x2)
Repeat Chorus 2- end.
Like i said, this isn't spot on, but it's how i jam to this song.
the lines that have the "Quotes" around them are just me guessing what he said, and
probably arn't accurate.
the line 'i've gotten over you,' could either be that, or 'I've got it all for you.'
so there's a basic idea, and i challenge anyone to do a better one.
