These are the chords from Charlie McDonnell’s (or Charlieissocoollike’s) video “Fun
Science: Sound!” video for you so you can play some fun music ^_^. The song is played in
standard tuning (GCEA) I believe, so no alterations there. It’s not too hard to play
once you get the hang of it, even though most of the chords are barre chords as in most of
Coollikes tunes. Buts it’s quite a good song really considering it’s about sound xD
I'm pretty sure these chords are right, corrections are welcome ^-^
Chords involved:
C1: 6544
G: 5232
Eb: 3336
F: 5558
Bb: 3211
C2: 0003
G2: 77710
C1It starts with an Gidea or an Ebimpulse to make a Fsound,
And then a C1message gets sent Gto my head where my Ebvocal chords are Ffound.
And theBby vibrate, and cause thFe air to vibratC2e too.
Then the Bbair gets shot out of myF mouth on its way to G2you!
C1This vibration GI've just made Ebtravels as a Fwave,
But if C1I vibrated Gdifferently then it would Ebcause the wave to Fchange.
If I sing Bblow then the Ffrequency of the wave C2drops.
If I sing Bbhigh then the Ffrequency is high too.
And if I sing loud then my micro-phone pG2ops!
The C1sound wave travels Gthrough the air Ebunless it hits a Fwall
Then the C1higher frequencGies get absorbed and theEb deeper ones pass Fthrough
And that's why Bbwhen I'm behind a Fwindow I sound like C2this.
And if the Bbwall is hard theF sound bounces back and you can hear an G2echo!
The sound is C1captured by my Gmicro-phone and Ebsorted digitallyF,
That was unC1til you play this Gvideo and now your Ebspeakers are mimickingF me
And now the Bbwaves are back and gFoing into your eC2ar.
Only 6 more Bbsteps inside your head until you get to hG2ear!
C1Sound is Gtouch at a Bbdistance,
FWhen they say that C1music can Gtouch you, it lBbiterally doFes.
C1Sound is Ga vi-ber-Bbation,
But Fthanks to modern C1science Gwe can know that it'sBb shaking our eardrums:
(still Bb)
And the drum then shakes some tiny bones
C1And the bones send vibrations to a liquid
BbAnd the waves in the liquid bend some hairs
C1And the hairs send a signal to the brain
BbAnd it's only when it forms a pattern in your C1head that you can G2hear!
(Outro): C1, G, Bb, F, C1
Then he never really did figure out a good way to end that song... ;)
Hope this is helpful in some way, as I’ve said, this song was written by the talented
young man Charlie McDonnell, known on Youtube as Charlieissocoollike. The video to this
song can be found here (it's very entertaining):
