Tuning:
Last Night Of The World (Acoustic) by Bruce Cockburn Tuning: Drop F# [E A D F# B e] Capo III (all tabs and chord shapes are referenced to the capo) Open strings become [G C F A D g] Suggested Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fCtf_BJ9WUo Chords: Again Bruce works his guitar pretty hard in this tune...hammering the low E string with his thumb and then following with a series of almost claw-hammer like rhythm strokes creating a percussive sound and on the G chord rhythmically lifting the barre finger slightly to mute the chord and give it a more choppy feel. In the main verse the Cadd9/G chord is played by plucking the 4 lowest strings (3 to 6) first then while attemptong to keep the thumb pulsing on the low 6th string using 3 fingers together pluck strings 2 to 4 and progressively shift up a string to 1 to 3 letting it ring out and you climb up. I'll attempt to depict this below but you'll need to listen to Bruce to get the rhythm. Chord names may be slightly inaccurate but I am sure the fingers are correct.
