Bernard Fanning - Thrill is Gone Despite many other tabs, Bernard actually plays this song in an open E tuning with a capo on 1st fret. This is how he achieves the open chord sound as seen on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjp2aedIabM He also plays it this way on the record as far as I can work out.
