* There's a little "upwards" effect here that you can get by switching from one voicing of Cmaj to a "higher" one. For example, from 332010 to x32010 or from x32010 to x32013 or from 332010 to x32013 [my personal fav]. Also, you may find it easier [I certainly do] to make it a E-based bar chord [8-10-10-9-8-8] on the first time around, before the solo. That way you're right in position to play the solo.
