Originally the song is in Fm. By placing a capo at the first fret you make it a little bit easier because now the song can be played as Em. Therefore the chord progression of the whole song is Em | Am | Bm | Em. If you play this in a band like me and your singer is able/wants to sing it in regular G you can remove the capo. Since this is a reggae type groove I recommend turning the tone knob (on a passive bass) all the way down and playing close the to the neck to get a very deep and smooth tone. For the absolutely original sound you should also palm mute all notes. I don't do it because I don't like the sound. This is not 100% like the original. It takes some of the key lines to which I add my own spice. Especially the the little E minor lick on the last bar of the Chorus/Verse. [Chorus/Verse] Repeat this until the break at around 2:37.
