Capo: 4 Tuning: E A D G B E
(I went ahead and put the versions of the chords that I play. In other words, they're all "fancy" because I believe they have a much fuller sound, while still staying true to what Ásgeir plays (he plays pretty simplistically on the keys). If you prefer, you can definitely strip down the chords listed and play the simple G, F#m, etc. and it wouldn't sound horrible. Whatever instrument you're playing, though, I highly recommend listening to the video/recording and experimenting with inversions and octaves. For example, in the verse, the highest note he plays in each chord is a C# (after using the capo/transposing). Also, in the chorus, each time the Dadd9 is played (in like every recording of this song), at least the third of the chord is played an octave higher, then kind of slides down. Plus, in the intro, I added examples of bass notes to play.) Key of D#m Capo 4 (Official recording is Capo 6) [Intro] Gadd9 F#m7/A Bm7/F# Dadd9/A (x4) [Verse 1]
