**I'm a beginner here so please don't be too hard on me, also English is not my native language* **I've watched many acoustic versions of this song played by him and his guitarist** **Since Allen is a soul, R&B singer he uses a lot of jazzy chords** **I don't know all the names of these chords so I tried to figure them out by watching which notes are used** **Figuring it out by ear and watching him play I realized that his guitar is tuned a whole tone down** **Reminder: If you want to play this on another instrument (Piano, etc) remember that the actual chords are a step down so an Am7 would actually be an Gm7 ad so on.** **You can play this in standard tuning but remember that the chords are one step down and you will need to find another voicings. It may not sound exactly the same** Chords used: Am7, Dm7, E7#9, G, F, Dm with F# in the base and Emaj7 with G# in the base. Voicings used: Note: For Emaj7 he uses a creepy voicing, Allen when playing alone uses G instead. Also Allen doesn't play Dm with F# in the base, he plays F. On the bridge his guitarist mutes the strings and just keeps the rythm.
