Tuning:
The song is actually 1/4 step down. If you try to play along with the song, it'll sound slightly off if you play it in standard. But for playing alone, standard tuning will be just fine. The slide also has to be very fast so that it's barely noticeable. It's mostly just used to add some texture, but it'll sound slightly bland if you just play a wiggly C note. The C note in the verses is also a wiggly one. Very important. Also, in the verses, he switches guitar tones between when he's picking the barre chords and when he does the wiggly C note or the lead in the choruses. The lead part in "Maybe my mind's preoccupied" is not what Travis plays, but it's what I like to play. In the song he does some slide lead that I couldn't figure out.
