Tuning: E A D G B E
I appreciate all the other versions of this song, but I feel like they are missing something. It's hard to take a strictly keyboard song and make it into a guitar song. I do agree with the riff parts as described in the other songs and will copy them here, giving credit to migster who used it in the first version of the song. "The fills [near] the end of every 2nd line are a basic D riff: Dsus2 D Dsus4 D Dsus2 D The riff timings can be a little tricky when singing along, but listen to the song and it will make sense." In my version, from the Riff, slide up from the last D in the riff to a G/D played up a fret from the D and the G/D is what starts the lyrics. Also, in the Chorus, all the chords are barr chords except for the D. On the 4th line of the chorus, play the G, and then play a run of just the bar finger from G to G# and then play the A. Playing with a bass player would really carry this song. I picked up the chords from this version on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKncmqGKE5E G/D - x x o 4 3 3 [Intro] G/D D D-riff X2 [Verse]
