Tuning:
So, to begin, if I'm correct, Mark always played with two strings, the D and G bass strings, and he put them in the A and D spots on his bass, and he supposedly always played in the key of D when it came to Morphine, meaning that you should only use the D and G strings, and you should tune them to D and A. I've found that playing on a guitar almost sounds the same, just tuning it to open D, and only playing the E and A strings, unless you want to experiment, then by all means, use the other strings. Of course, the entire song isn't just this "picking pattern", a lot of it's just improvised, but this should get you started on this song at the very least. I only made this because the other tabs weren't that helpful. One guy only used theD string, the other had the wrong tuning and probably the wrong strings. ************************************ | x Dead note | g Grace note | (n) Ghost note | h Hammer-on | p Pull-off | r Release | > Accented note | t Tapping | b Bend | br Bend release | pb Pre-bend | pbr Pre-bend release | / Slide up | \ Slide down | ~ Vibrato | s Slap | P Pop | PM Palm mute | TR Trill | N Tremolo ************************************
