DWe had a go
GAnd worked it out
BmUntil the bitter Aend
DAnd I suppose
GI should've known
What was Bmwaiting 'round the Abend
I didn't know that Dkindness was fleeting
I didn't know that Bmsoft could go hard
I bet you wonder at the Dwords in your mouth
I bet you wonder at the sAound
We Dbreak tAhe proBmmise
And we Dtake iAt baGck
We mDove in sAilencBme
This is Dthe end, tAhe end, the eDnd
DWe try, we fail, we crawl
GWe let the pieces fall
Bmwhere they may
And the picture Afades
DSo go on and break my heart
GIt's always been caught off guard
In the eBmnd, there is nothing left to Asay
And the sDecrets you keep under your tongue
Are turning Bmtwo into no one
I bet you wonder at the wDords in your mouth
I bet you wonder at the sAound
We Dbreak tAhe proBmmise
And we Dtake iAt baGck
We mDove in sAilencBme
This is Dthe end, tAhe end, the eDnd
The Bmplane falls,
And it goes on and Aon in circles, Dspinning round
Let it Bmgo, let it gAo
I can't Dtake it Bmwith me,
can't Atake it Dwith you
We Dbreak tAhe proBmmise
And we Dtake iAt baGck
We mDove in sAilencBme
This is Dthe end, tAhe end, the eDnd
We Dbreak tAhe proBmmise
And we Dtake iAt baGck
We mDove in sAilencBme
This is Dthe end, tAhe end, the eDnd
(repeat &fade)
No matter what, I couldn't get quite happy with the bridge, but this sounds okay to play
with. Some chords didn't translate perfectly from the piano, so I made some slight adaptations.
