This song was written and is performed by the Kruger Brothers. It is currently being considered to be recognized as the official State Song of North Carolina where the Krugers make their home. They emigrated from Switzerland in order to be close to Doc Watson who was a tremendous inspiration for them as they were growing up and they were able to spend time with Doc over the years. I’m not sure of the original key of the recording, I’ve pitched this for my voice. It is easy enough to transpose, if necessary. CAROLINA IN THE FALL — THE KRUGER BROTHERS Verse 1.
