Tonight Tonight - Hot Chelle Rae
Tabbed By : 13hurricane
Tuning: Standard
Ok, so right now there are two bass tabs for this song. Both agree that the first part
of the main (and really, only) riff goes like this:
G|-------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------|
E|0---4--5---------------1---5--6------|
First One Second One
Agreeable that that is how it goes. I use F rather than E. The second part of the riff
is where the trouble begins. One has you start higher and go down, like this:
G|----------|
D|----------|
A|3---0-----|
E|-------1--|
The other has you start a half-step lower and go higher, like this:
G|-----------|
D|-----------|
A|----6--7---|
E|-7---------|
The problem is, neither of these are right. The good thing, neither is wrong. During
the chorus, when heavy effects are used, the second version is how it goes. But during
the verse, it switches back and forth. So, it really looks like this:
Verse
G|-------------------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------|
A|----------3------------------------------6-7-----|
E|-1---4-5-------0-1------1----4-5----7------------|
Chorus
G|------------------------|
D|------------------------|
A|--------------6--7------|
E|-1---4-5---7------------|
Not too hard, just listen to the song and you should get it.
