Then play the little A3add4{2} triad. ********************************************************************************* {2} -A3add4, broken, when going out of Chorus1 e|--------17-------| -|you'd have B|-------15--------| -|to shift this down G|------18---------| -|an ocatve on an acoustic D|-----------------| A|-{Still ringing]-| E|-----------------| ********************************************************************************* {3} -picking pattern, second Verse: |--------Gadd9----------||--D---||--------A3add4--------||-Dsus2-| e|------5-------5-------5-------2-------5-------5-------5-------0-| B|----3-------3-------3-------3-----2h3-----2h3-----2h3-----2h3---| G|--4-------4-------4-------2-----2-------2-------2-------2-------| D|5-------5-------5-------0---------------------------------------| A|----------------------------------------------------------------| E|----------------------------------------------------------------| ▲ | [Stop on this note before "strumming into"{4} Chorus2] ********************************************************************************* {4} -Asus4, strummed, leading into Chorus2 e|5| B|3| G|2| D|2| A|-| E|-| ********************************************************************************* {5} -chords for Chorus2 E7add4: Gadd9: Dadd9: Aadd4: Asus4: e| 5 | e| 5 | e| 2 | e| 0 | e| 0 | B| 3 | B| 3 | B| 5 | B| 2 | B| 3 | G| 0 | G| 0 | G| 2 | G| 2 | G| 2 | D| 2 | D| 0 | D| 0 | D| 0 | D| 2 | A| 2 | A| 2 | A| - | A| 0 | A| 0 | E| 0 | E| 3 | E| - | E| - | E| - | ▲ | [don't hit A-string - it sounds weird going into the next chord] Oh, and: The A chords are not quite right. You'd want that friction of the pretty high 3 and 4 lying directly on top of eachother. But then there's this 'melody' from 3 to 4. The lowest notes of the piano [not the synth bass] go 3-1-5. You need that 5th for it to not sound wishy washy. ... . I found this impossible to realize on guitar. These are my thoughts and this is my best approximation. So feel free to edit this if you come up with something better! ********************************************************************************* {6} -A/F#, picked, in Breakdown e|-9-------------| B|---10----------| G|------9--------| D|--------11-----| A|-9-------------| E|---------------| ********************************************************************************* {7} -chords for Bridge Dadd9: F#m7: Em7add4: G6add9: A7sus4: e| 2 | e| 2 | e| 2 | e| 5 | e| 5 | B| 5 | B| 2 | B| 5 | B| 5 | B| 3 | G| 2 | G| 2 | G| 2 | G| 0 | G| 0 | D| 0 | D| 2 | D| 0 | D| 0 | D| 2 | A| - | A| 5 | A| - | A| 2 | A| 0 | E| - | E| 2 | E| - | E| 3 | E| - | !I'm not very confident in these! if you wanna spend some time and work this out, maybe even provide a tab that incooperates the melody, I - and many others, im sure - would be very happy [more info at the very bottom] ********************************************************************************* {8} -Dsus2/F#, picked, in the Outro between 'grow's e|-5-------------| B|---5-----------| G|-----7---------| D|-0-----7-------| A|[9]------------| E|---------------| you can use A-String fret 9 to get the F# THE REST !you can safely ignore this!
