Song - Sister I'm A Poet Artist - Colin Meloy Album - Colin Meloy Sings Morrisey Standard Tuning - EADGBE This is a nice song to play, with not a lot of chords but the chords do change fast. Large spaces between chords where there are no lyrics indicate they go on for longer! barre chords do sound tighter, but open chords sound just fine as well. Enjoy :) ~ E G A E G A G A G E G A E G A G E

Here's a little variation you can add to the E major chord of the main riff that's followed by the quick G chord, then A chord. e|-0------0-0--- b|-0------0-0--- G|-1--0h1-1-1--- D|-2--2---2-2--- A|-2------2-2--- E|-0------0-0--- in short, quickly strum the first E chord, lift off your pointer finger that should have been on the 1st fret of the G string so it is now open, then pluck the D string, with your middle finger still on the 2nd fret from the chord, then hammer back onto the 1st fret of the G string with your pointer finger, then 2 very quick strums of the E major chord, it sounds great when it's pulled off :)
