Tuning: E A D G B E
[Intro] e|--------------|-------------| B|--------------|-------------| G|-5--7---------|-5--7--------| D|-5--7--4------|-5--7--7-----| A|-3--5--4-(2x)-|-3--5--7-----| E|-------2------|-------5-----| Play the F# barre chord 12 strokes each time. The A barre chord begins the verse. [Verse] e|------------------------------------------------| B|------------------------------------------------| G|------------7-----7----------------5------------| D|-7-7777777--7--7--7--10-10-10--5-5-5--7-7777777-| A|-7-7777777--5--7--5--10-10-10--5-5-3--7-7777777-| E|-5-5555555-----5-----8--8--8---3-3----5-5555555-| You can use the C barre on the third fret instead which would be: e|---------------------------------------------| B|---------------------------------------------| G|------------7-----7--5-5-5------5------------| D|-7-7777777--7--7--7--5-5-5--5-5-5--7-7777777-| A|-7-7777777--5--7--5--3-3-3--5-5-3--7-7777777-| E|-5-5555555-----5------------3-3-----5-5555555-| That is probably how Hetson plays it anyway. [Chorus] e|----------------------------------------------------------------------------| B|----------------------------------------------------------------------------| G|-----------------6-6666666------7-7777777------10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10------| D|-7-7777777-------6-6666666------7-7777777------10-10-10-10-10-10-10-10------| A|-7-7777777-------4-4444444------5-5555555------8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8-------| E|-5-5555555------------------------------------------------------------------| [Bridge] e|---------------| B|---------------| G|-5--7----------| D|-5--7--4-------| A|-3--5--4--(4x)-| E|-------2-------| [Outro] e|------------------------| B|------------------------| G|-5--7-----------5--7----| D|-5--7--4--------5--7--4-| A|-3--5--4--(4x)--3--5--4-| E|-------2--------------2-| That's it! This is first tab I have ever done, so hopefully my structure is easy enough to understand. I chose Stars and Stripes as it is easily my go to Jerks song to play because it is so fun. I have also worked out the first three Circle Jerks albums which I may put up as wholes, but do them as chord charts due to tabs being too time consuming for me. I will just put up the chords in order in their place in the song and make it easy enough to follow just by listening to the song and looking at the chord chart Any feedback would be great too, thanks.
