Running From Home - Bert Jansch I think this is 100% correct. I've been through it many times to make sure it's right. As for technique, i hold down the 6th string on the first fret with my thumb throughout the song. Bert does this too. I play the 6th & 4th strings with my other thumb in an alternating bass style while the fingers play the melody notes on strings 1, 2 & 3. The letters under the bars in the intro section below indicate what digits to use to play the notes above them. p = thumb, i = 1st finger, m = 2nd finger & a = 3rd finger.
