I find it's easier to play the B shape with the ring finger covering the DGB strings,makes it easier to switch
between chords.
When the slide is played in the chorus he forms a Gm chord and slides it up, and the 6 is then played with his
pinkie.
Mike sometimes slides up from the 4's in the intro/verses, so if you want you can do that.
